Following the real life, day-to-day antics of a group of rescued orangutans - ‘pupils’ at one of the world’s most extraordinary schools.
Rapid deforestation threatens the very existence of this most human-like primate species, but under the guidance of a skilled and caring team of ‘’babysitters’, orphaned and once captive orangutans are taught vital survival skills before being released back into the wild.
The stakes could not be higher as they embark on rehabilitation. Will they be able to overcome their traumatic pasts to ‘graduate’ from Jungle School? The future of their species relies, in great part, on their success.
