CREDITS
Following the work of real-life female private detectives in Lusaka, Zambia, as they investigate cases of theft, fraud, and marital infidelity.
While experienced PI’s Betty and Lindy investigate a mysterious case of missing sacks of maize from a warehouse in the capital, new recruit Bertha and recently married Mannes go undercover in a hair salon and take a trip to the Victoria Falls on the trail of an unfaithful spouse.
As in the eponymous novels, our heroines constantly run up against the realities of Africa and struggle with lack of funds for mobile phone credit and petrol for their vehicles, but they never let this interfere with their positive attitude and determination to get to the truth.
